**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies and specialty drinks
- Prepare/ prep food items such as wraps, salads, toasts, etc.
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Ensure that all beverages are made to the customer's specifications and meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints in a friendly and efficient manner
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer balances
- Follow all health and safety regulations when handling food and beverages

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate cash transactions
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques to ensure food safety standards are met
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers
- Fluent in English and French
