We are currently in need of a full-time Accounting Clerk to perform accounting and administrative duties in our Brampton office.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- A/P duties including organizing and paying bills in order of priority.
- Tracking down and inputting all company expenses into Quickbooks
- General payroll duties
- Keeping track of Petty Cash
- Data entry and other assigned duties.
- Ensuring all expense receipts are collected and filed properly
- Ensure all credit card slips are received and balanced with credit card statements
- Update management on past due receivables
- Receive supplier invoices, check invoices against purchase orders, code and enter in the PBS system
- Preform all payroll related duties including payroll tax to CRA
- Reconciliation all the Bank Account Statements
- Reconciliation the schedules for the accounts
- Maintain General ledger and post journal entries
- Assist in preparation of monthly statements through reconciliation of various accounts
- Assist Accounting Manager with the month end and year end closing
- Assist with company’s audits and prepare all the reports
- Perform general office admin duties as required
- Ensure all credit card slips are received and balanced with credit card statements
- Update management on past due receivables
**Summary of Experience**
5+ years of general accounting experience.
**Requirements**:
- Post
- Secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred/ an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Good problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to in-house software and company procedures.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and or related accounting software.
- Previous experience communicating with CRA representatives.
Pay: $48,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
