Our commitment to the community drives us to support local initiatives and initiatives that align with our values. **Position Overview**: **Key Responsibilities**: - Lead, motivate, and mentor the plumbing department team to achieve sales and performance goals. - Manage day-to-day operations, including sales, service scheduling, and customer service. - Oversee inventory control, ensuring that stock levels meet customer demand without overstocking. - Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and product availability. - Monitor department financial performance, including profit margins, sales targets, and cost controls. - Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally. - Collaborate with the senior management team to develop strategies that drive department growth. - Ensure all work complies with industry standards and local regulations. **Qualifications**: - Proven experience in plumbing, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems, products, and installation techniques. - Previous experience managing a team, preferably in a trade environment. - Strong leadership and decision-making skills. - Excellent customer service and communication abilities. - Proficient in using inventory management and sales tracking software. - Knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety regulations. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. **Preferred Qualifications**: - Certification or license in plumbing is highly desirable. - Experience in vendor relations and procurement. - Previous experience in a retail or wholesale environment related to plumbing. **Benefits**: - Competitive salary and bonus structure. - Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance. - Paid time off and retirement savings plans. - Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. - Employee discounts on company products and services.
