Overall Mandate:
What We Are Looking For
- In-depth knowledge of strategic sales methodologies and processes in a matrix environment.
- Strong negotiation, written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, time management and self-motivational skills.
- In depth business acumen and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with or lead diverse teams to formulate account strategy.
- In-depth knowledge of industry products and services.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and foster key relationships with contacts outside of the sales function to formulate successful account strategies.
- Ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources and correlate to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Must be located around Montreal.
- Must be fluently bi-lingual in French and English.
Your role will encompass the following
- Act as a channel liaison with our channel partner sellers and Fleet Complete to end customers.
- Develop, nurture and build trust with our channel partner sellers to develop sales opportunities.
- Organizes and implements post-sale delivery and implementation of FC solutions at customer locations. Acts as primary point of contact for all sales paperwork.
- Proactively develops new customer contacts, reviews, leads, participates in customers’ strategic planning, and delivers FC proposals and studies as prescribed by sales management.
- Meets or exceeds revenue and gross profit expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of all account activity within sales database.
- Actively drives formal business reviews, account planning sessions and plans and consults within a team-based work environment to ensure the identification of sales opportunities.
- Identifies, creates, and implements action plans for all at-risk accounts.
- Meets forecasting objectives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
We would love you to have the following
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- At least 5 years successful sales experience, at least 2 years of which is business-to-business sales experience, preferably with account management and development experience.
- Wireless and GPS experience is an asset.
- Software sales/training experience is an asset.
- Telematics industry knowledge is preferred.
- Subject matter expert on Fleet Complete and AVL industry.
- Excellent command of verbal and written skills.
