**Shop Operations**

Brake and Roll Operator must demonstrate competence in the following shop operations, associated with fabricating pressure vessels, heat exchangers, gas exchangers, and associated distribution piping, and fittings:

- Read Blueprints
- Operation of Metal Plate Rolling Machines
- Rolling of Plate into Cones
- Operation of Brake Press
- Straightening of welded plate
- Grind or Cut Weld Prep
- Must be able to perform tack welds (GTAW and SMAW), for the fitting and tacking of plate sections together.
- Achieve Specified Accuracy and Tolerances
- Cone Nozzle fit-ups
- Grinding

**Operation of Machines Applicable to the Task**

A qualified applicant must demonstrate competence using the following shop equipment, associated with fabricating pressure vessels, heat exchangers, gas exchangers, and associated distribution piping, and fittings:

- Welding Machines - TIG & Stick
- Bevel Machines
- Brake Press
- Plate Rolling Machines
- Angle Rolling Machine
- Manual Plasma machine
- Angle Grinders

**Skill Requirements**
- 3 - 5 years experience
- Specializing in stainless steel equipment and custom sheet metal items
- Determine cut sizes on parts using correct bend allowance calculations
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
- Layout, set up and operate brake press machine
- Read and interpret drawings or follow verbal instructions to bump, bend, roll or otherwise shape and from metal stock into parts or products.
- Measure and mark sheet metal according to template and layouts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination and standing for long periods.
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
- Organized, flexible, team player.

Productivity will be evaluated based upon Performance (Quantity of Work), Work Ethic, Technical Results (Quality), Accountability, Innovation and Improvement, and Self Management and Initiative.

Overtime including weekends may be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.07-$41.69 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
