**Human Resources Generalist (7-month Contract)**

This position is a 7-month contract to cover maternity leave at Cloudhead Games. As an independent contractor, you will focus primarily on technical recruitment, benefits management and keeping employee data up-to-date.

**What you would do**:

- Partner with producers and hiring managers to drive the end-to-end recruitment process, focusing on technical roles
- Coordinate pre-orientation and onboarding plans with managers and IT to ensure new hires have a seamless transition into the studio
- Oversee and update our benefits program, keeping staff informed on any new offerings
- Keep our HRIS up to date with accurate employee data
- Assist with preparing employee documentation, including offers, promotions, transfers, and compensation adjustments

**What you will bring**:

- 2+ years experience in a technical recruitment role owning the full lifecycle
- Proven experience in human resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision making, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Experience using an ATS and HRIS systems (e.g. BambooHR)
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information

**Compensation**

The dollar per hour rate for this position ranges from CAD $35-50/hour.
