**_Purpose of the position_**

The position will (but not limited to):

- Provide excellent customer service & collaboration to promote programs and services offered by the Recreation & Community Services Division.
- Support department administration to ensure organization needs are met.
- Be responsible for safety initiatives/measures to ensure public safety.

To be successful in this position, you will:

- Certificate in related field/diploma preferred
- 1 - 2 years work experience in customer service or recreation centre setting
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite and recreation management software
- Cash handling, financial procedures, and loss prevention an asset
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR or willing to obtain
- Class 5 Driver's license
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with constant change and distractions.
- Superior customer service and a high level of professionalism in public relations

**Hours of Work: Regular evening/weekend shifts - primarily Friday through Monday**_ nights every other weekend_**

**Length of assignment: As soon as possible until April 15, 2026**
