**Position Summary**

**Job Structure**

This is a full-time salaried position. Work schedule is a set schedule, Monday-Friday. Paid vacation accrual at 4%, paid sick leave and health benefits.

**Responsibilities**
- Utilize QuickBooks accounting software for financial management
- Oversee and assist with general accounting functions including, but not limited to, accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- HST filings, payroll and other recurring tax filings
- Support for year end tax filing processes
- Monitor financial status by evaluating revenue and expenses and cash flow
- Communicate with external accountants
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions within the organization
- Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
- Manage budgeting processes and monitor financial performance
- Attention to detail and proven ability to analyze large amounts of data

**Qualifications**

**Education and Training**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience in accounting roles

**Skills and Experience**
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of budgeting and financial analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
