**Manufacturing Company Yard Worker**

**Company background**:
Revolver Screening Systems (RSS) is a construction equipment manufacturing company located in Port Hope, Ontario.

We manufacture portable trommel screening plants and conveyors to be shipped to and sold through a network of dealers all across North America.

**Position description**:
We have available an immediate full-time position for an experienced yard worker for our new manufacturing facility in Port Hope as well as our storage yard in Bowmanville, ON.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Mechanically inclined individual preferred but not essential;
- Willingness to learn and be trained on equipment operation;
- Lift truck operator;
- Minimum twelve (12) months of general work experience;
- Communicate effectively and professionally with the truckers, customers and co-workers;
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record;
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision;
- Must be self-directed;
- Willingness to work additional hours to meet business demands
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when required but with excellent inter-personal skills, when working in a team;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions;
- Must be able to step up and down into truck, sit, kneel, reach, bend, and climb ladders;
- Must be physically able to lift (nothing too heavy) and function in a warehouse environment;
- Safety awareness and a willingness to learn and adhere to the company Health, Safety and Security standards;
- Read and write to ensure compliance paperwork is completed daily;
- Work conditions: outdoor environments and various weather condition;
- Weekend work occasionally may be required;
**Duties & responsibilities include the following**:

- Yard organization & maintenance;
- Organization of the shop and yard;
- Arrange equipment in the yard
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas;
- Loading equipment on to trailers for shipping;
- Unloading engines, parts & accessories used in our manufacturing process;
- Moving product in our facility by list truck and by hand;
- The position is based in the Yard and will also include preparation of shipments in the Warehouse.
- Liaise with and assist truckers;
- Run errands as needed, including picking up parts and supplies;
- Clean and pressure wash equipment;
- Other general duties as required;
