**Responsibilities**:
PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Product Manager leads the design, build and rollout of desirable, feasible, viable and sustainable products. The products may be software, technical solutions, and services, and/or user experience provided by the Product team. Overseeing the product lifecycle that meets customer needs within the strategic framework of BTS. Collaborates with business stakeholders, product owners, cross-functional teams, BTS, and solution providers, to ensure products deliver on user needs and maximize value to support corporate strategy and goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Proficient in the solution context, developing product vision, roadmap and features required to meet the needs of the customers. Oversees long to medium-term planning and manages the product life cycle. Using various design thinking tools, ranging from personas, empathy maps, journey maps, and story maps, communicates the product vision, roadmap and features to development teams and system architects/engineers. Supports the selection of talent and required skillsets during the establishment process of the development teams. Delivers value through the program backlog and continuous delivery pipeline.

Collaborates with various stakeholders to identify and define customer needs. Responsible for communicating effectively with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, executives, customers, business managers, and the development team to make sure the goals are clear, and the vision is aligned with business strategies and objectives. Tracks and communicates progress on all requirements associated with product releases. Communicates with Product Owners and other key stakeholders to report or discuss vision, progress, risks, and issues.

Leads collaborative elicitation and documentation of business, functional and non-functional requirements. Translates the ideas and requirements into high-quality agile artifacts, such as epics and features. Manages portfolio and program level backlog while providing ongoing guidance to the development teams. Adheres and contributes to Agile standards and best practices, including documentation and processes.

Acts as an expert at understanding and anticipating the client’s needs to manage the development process more effectively. Elaborates epic and feature details to facilitate effective program increment planning. Working with key stakeholders, prioritizing epics and features.

Drives product releases and validates completed epics and features meet the predefined acceptance criteria and complies with the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD). Also, assures built-in quality of the product, focusing on maximizing value. Responsible for working with key business stakeholders to define leading indicators and KPIs to measure the success of products. Develops change management plans to ensure adoption of product features and to realize business benefits and value.

Manages overall budget for the product, including developing, planning, monitoring, and making decisions on reallocation of resources cross functionally to deliver the product. Participates in providing recommendations and feedback on performance evaluations for the development team members. Develops a clear model of how the solution provides value to customers and customer-centric ROI models that align with the value provided.

Understands the cost structure and in-license models of all components and suppliers. Creates any necessary pricing or revenue-generating elements and out-licensing models. Works with key stakeholders and solution providers to manage relationships and drive successful support and delivery model.

The requirements for this job are acquired through a bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or related discipline plus seven (7) years of related, demonstrated experience in product management, ability to effectively translate business requirements into technical/ functional req
