Business Development Lead

IMPACT Pump Solutions (IMPACT) has an opening for a full-time Business Development Lead - International Markets to join our dynamic team. The position is based in Calgary, AB, Canada, but requires > 50% travel across Eastern and Southern USA as well as the Middle East for customer development and industry events. IMPACT is seeking an individual who takes a proactive approach to business development, understands international market trends, and can gather and analyze data to support product development and field-testing initiatives. **The Role** - Build and implement effective regional strategies and tactics for prospecting new markets, products, partners, and customers to drive growth. - Gather and analyze intelligence about market and industry trends, customers, and competitors to support strategic decisions, drive growth and uncover market potential. - Develop an understanding of government and business relationships, including negotiating prices and contracts with international customers and partners. - Foster trusted technical partnerships and advisory relationships with customers, focusing on problem identification, exploration, and resolution to expand client base. - Work alongside the marketing team to bring technical expertise to support marketing strategies and growth opportunities. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, quotes, and orders via CRM system. - Assist in field testing and provide technical support for new products and services. - Work collaboratively with relevant internal and external teams throughout the business development and sales cycle to create a seamless customer experience. - Grow IMPACT's brand visibility and reputation on an international level through industry events, professional associations, trade shows and technical training sessions. - Committed to travel internationally (>50%) to meet with clients and attend industry events. - Collaborate with the product development and engineering teams to provide technical support and solutions to customer inquiries, ensuring alignment with product capabilities and customer needs. **Your Qualifications: Education, Skills and Experience** - Bachelor's degree or Technologist diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or related discipline). - **Minimum of 5 years of field experience in the pressure pumping industry, with a strong focus on Frac, Coil-tubing, Cementing, and Acidizing.**: - Proven track record of successful business development and sales, emphasizing acquiring new clients and introducing new products. - Strong technical understanding of pressure pumping operations and services. Previous field or operational experience is a must. - Experience gathering and analyzing market data to drive business strategies and support product development. - Committed to travelling internationally and having experience working with diverse cultural environments. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Validated presentation, relationship-building, and sales skills. - Resourceful, independent, results-oriented, but still able to work successfully within a team. - International business development experience, specifically in the Middle East and USA pressure pumping industry, is considered an asset. **About IMPACT** **IMPACT's line of premium pumps and expendables include**: - IMPACT plungers and packing expendables provide unparalleled product life while optimizing productivity, cutting operating costs and maximizing profitability.
