**Job summary**: As a Consultant at Creative Fire, you’ll play a key role in guiding organizations toward meaningful reconciliation and fostering lasting partnerships with Indigenous communities. Your work will involve leading client engagements, developing innovative solutions, and working collaboratively to drive impact. This isn’t just consulting - it’s about relationship building, storytelling, and contributing to systemic change.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

At Creative Fire, we believe in adaptability and collaboration. Our consultants embrace opportunities beyond their core roles, fostering a culture of growth and flexibility. In this role, you will:

- Champion Reconciliation: Engage with clients across sectors to understand their goals and provide culturally informed strategies to advance Indigenous inclusion and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with Purpose: Work closely with cross-functional teams to craft problem-solving approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Lead Discovery and Engagement: Facilitate stakeholder sessions, focus groups, and workshops that bring Indigenous voices to the forefront.
- Strategize for Impact: Develop strategic roadmaps, reconciliation action plans, and Indigenous engagement strategies.
- Build Relationships: Foster strong, trust-based relationships with clients, Indigenous communities, and industry leaders.
- Mentor and Inspire: Support less experienced team members, contributing to their growth and development within the field of Indigenous relations.
- Innovate and Grow: Help expand our Indigenous Relations and Sustainability practices by contributing new ideas, thought leadership, and insights.
- Champion SaskPower Engagements: Collaborate closely with SaskPower on Indigenous engagement initiatives, nurturing and maintaining this important relationship.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Identify and implement operational improvements that align with Indigenous worldviews and client needs.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A passion for Indigenous relations, reconciliation, and sustainability.
- A master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Indigenous studies, business, public policy).
- 2-4 years of consulting experience, preferably in Indigenous engagement, sustainability, or ESG.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities, organizations, or Economic Development Corporations.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A mix of quantitative (e.g., data analysis, financial modeling) and qualitative (e.g., narrative development, report writing) skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - you take initiative, think creatively, and are comfortable working independently.
- Knowledge of Indigenous governance structures, treaties, and protocols is an asset.
