**About the Role and Responsibilities**:
Changes For Hope Inc is an Agency who supports and provides care for children and youth dealing with issues of healthy connections, trauma, loss, and grief. We provide group care and emotional supports for sibling groups and teenagers using a holistic approach. Changes For Hope focuses on the Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual aspects of each youth in our care, understanding that each is at a different place on their journey.

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Team Lead for one of our homes than cares for 4 girls ages 5-7 of which one has autism. As Team Lead you are responsible for**:Weekly Budget, Client Monthly Reviews,** **Staff Evaluations,** **Case Conferences, Budget Packages, Client Calendar Organization, Individual Goal Plan Development, Menu Preparation/Grocery Shopping,** **Staff and Client Support/Follow Up and have availability for regular on-call duties, Staff Supervision (formal and on-the-job), Staff Hiring, Orientation and Scheduling, Sign in Sheets,** **Recreation and other TL duties such as ensuring** **full home cleaning to AHS standards, evaluating the needs of clients, implementing service plans, administering medication and maintaining documentation and appointments**.

Building meaningful relationships with clients, staff and the community makes you an effective Team Lead dedicated to client care. Successful applicants will be conscientious, resourceful, team-oriented, and flexible. Experience as a Team Lead working from a Trauma informed perspective with children and youth with **Autism**, **FASD,** **challenging behavior **is a must.

**Education and Qualifications**:
Your ability to execute creative service plans for children in community care, understanding of Children’s Services, AHS and Licensing cleaning standards, understanding of CARF Accreditation standards, strong written and oral communication abilities along with your well-developed supervision and program implementation skills support you in this important role. You can manage staff and client groups, have use of personal vehicle to drive clients to school, appointments and recreational activities as required and act as a community liaison and you possess the ability to maintain a professional, open and cooperative work relationship with your team and Program Director, Case Workers conducive to meeting the need of the children.

Your **Diploma/Degree in Child and Youth Care, Disability Studies **(or equivalent) and your strong understanding of **high-risk youth**, **developmental disabilities, and trauma informed care along with 3-year Team Lead Community Group Home and 2 years child and youth care experience **will ensure your success in this position.

**A vehicle and valid driver's license are required**

**Must provide current Driving Abstract (within the last six months)**

Ability to develop household recreation and community access programs for youths.

Must possess the ability to maintain a professional, open and cooperative work relationship with co-workers conducive to meeting the need of the children.

Capable and willing to work with clients who are involved in Children Services

Able to lift 50lbs

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
