We are a busy Mack/Volvo and Isuzu Trucks dealer who is committed to ongoing development of training paths for technical advancement. **Requirements include**:
- A leader who is productive and constantly looking for opportunities to improve
- Previous automotive industry-related experience is required
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Possess a team mentality
**Duties & Responsibilities Include**:
- Inventory Management
- Scheduling Staffing Management
- Handling major fleet account sales
- Working with suppliers on marketing and parts pricing
- Purchasing and marketing all-makes parts
- Ensure staff completes required training
- Strategizing and optimizing road parts sales
- Assist in the overall management of the department
- Responding to tenders posted on Merx
- Achieve expected gross profit percentage
- Manage receivables
- Promote accessories through innovative displays and promotions
- Maintain range and depth of inventory while minimizing investment
- Minimize aged stock on hand
- Maintain a perpetual inventory process
- Track and follow up on back-order parts
- Direct and schedule the activities of all parts department employees
- Develop and enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customers satisfaction
**Preferred Education & Qualifications**:
- 2 years of applicable experience in a similar role
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to use various computer programs (CDK experience a definite asset)
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a fast
- paced environment
