**About the Role**:
We are looking for a dedicated Production Technician to join our growing team. You will primarily be responsible for executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assemble and Quality Control (QC) micro-assemblies. High precision while working with small parts will be critical for this role.

**Specific responsibilities of this role**:

- Follow SOP to cut and QC optical fibres
- Glue fibres into ferrules
- Use microscope to QC fiber ferrule assembly
- Track inventory and quality data in systems

**About You**:
You are highly organized and focused in your work, and you have a strong ability to execute processes systematically. You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously to meet production targets. You are passionate about continuous improvements in quality and efficiency to help improve production processes. You thrive in a small team environment and are excited about a career in a growing technology company
- Scrupulous attention to detail
- Able to stay highly focused when following an SOP
- Fine motor skills for precision work
- Meticulous in nature, especially while performing repetitive tasks
- Organized and able to maintain a clean working environment
- Ideally, in a technical post-secondary program looking for full-time summer work and part-time work around school hours in the fall.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

- Optic fibres
- High-volume production with tight mechanical tolerances
- Working in cleanrooms
