We are Ottawa's provider of site safety solutions such as
- Temporary fencing
- Crowd Control systems
- Vehicle Defense Systems
- Logistical Support

Our teams cover major events around the Ottawa area: festivals, fairs, arenas, races, and parades. Our products are also used at conference centers, schools, event centers, and construction sites. We are a fast-growing company and are looking to build our team. We also provide Road Closure services for many major governmental organizations.

**Special Event Staff**

Special Event Staff work under the leadership of the Director of Operations and aid with operational duties as assigned.
- JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_
- Always maintain a clean and tidy demeanor.
- Direct incoming and outgoing traffic at the event site.
- Manage pedestrian traffic at the event site.
- Always demonstrate professionalism and customer service.
- Remain attentive to details and meet client deadlines.
- Adhere to on-site policies and procedures of clients.
- Perform all tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations and supervisors.

**Applicants must**:

- be articulate, energetic and trustworthy
- be able to take direction and work well with a team
- be able to work weekend nights, special events, and holidays
- have effective/ tactical communication skills
- Maintain a sense of urgency while remembering to maintain a safe working environment.
- Accomplish goals in a team environment and refrain from aggressive and condescending behavior.
- Accountable and Dependable to maintain a successful work environment. must be able to work rain or shine

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
