**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and present sushi dishes with precision and creativity, adhering to traditional Japanese techniques.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to health and safety regulations, maintaining strict food handling protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain inventory of sushi ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality while minimizing waste.
- Assist in menu development by suggesting new sushi items or seasonal specials based on ingredient availability.
- Uphold cleanliness standards in the kitchen, including regular cleaning of workstations and equipment.
- Provide training and support to junior kitchen staff as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to meal preparation and food handling.
- Familiarity with various types of fish, seafood, and other ingredients used in sushi making.
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant setting is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
