The company supports over 260 Large Landlords/Property Managers and half a million units through their client base and API partnerships.

**The Opportunity**

With the ongoing success of the Letus payment platform, we are looking to scale our engineering team by adding a dedicated Scrum Master to our team. If you have experience as a Scrum Master in the tech and/or finance sector, are passionate about agile methodology, and thrive in a highly collaborative team environment, we are looking for you You think critically as well as have an ability to empathize with different team perspectives. You have strong problem-solving and communication skills and have experience collaborating with business and technical teams in a dynamic environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated and dynamic scrum master looking to work in a highly collaborative Agile environment dedicated to building better payment experiences for our users.

**What you will be doing**
- Help the team align and focus on Sprint and Program Increment (PI) Goals
- Foster continuous improvement of performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
- Drive Release Management activities so that software is successfully moved onto the production environment
- Guide the team to remove impediments
- Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and coach them to higher levels of maturity. Help the team improve and take responsibility for their actions
- Help the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the product backlog and roadmap. Help the PO guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to scope, priorities, and product quality.
- Capture, monitor Metrics to inform the conversations with stakeholders
- Drive the Safe Agile ceremonies like daily stand up, sprint planning, backlog grooming
- Improve upon existing JIRA workflows
- Perform Risk and impediment management
- Handle external team dependencies and risk management

**What we are looking for**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile development environment
- Experience with Jira or other tools utilized in an agile development environment
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM or SAFe SSM) is highly encouraged
- Effective planning and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with other engineers including distributed team members
- Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to all aspects of the development
- Ability to follow-through on tasks in a fast-paced environment
