THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Digital Technology team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for delivering everyday luxury experiences to Aritzia’s clients by leveraging technology to meet and exceed the vision and mission of the business. As a Scrum Master, you will support our teams in delivering secure, and reliable digital commerce solutions. You will work closely with product squads across digital technology to formulate a delivery roadmap for the digital commerce backend and ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality. Additionally, you will serve as a coach and mentor to the digital commerce backend team - helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently. THE ROLE

As a Scrum Master in Digital Technology, you will:

- Facilitate and coordinate processes within the team using Agile Scrum
- Guide and coach the team on using a variety of principles and practices that stem from using Agile Scrum, Kanban & SAFe
- Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products by:

- Identifying and troubleshooting obstacles that are hindering the team’s progress
- Promoting continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions
- Defining & tracking KPIs
- Helping teams deliver high-quality products/features on time
- Defining principles & practices that a team can adopt to drive efficient delivery
- Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders
- Partner with management to deliver status and performance updates
- Own the roadmap for the Digital Commerce backend
- Own the delivery lifecycle for a defined set of production systems
- Actively monitor key metrics, reports on trends, and make improvement recommendations
- Review product roadmaps and guide intake acceptance for a set of production systems
- Be the main contributor for product roadmaps
- Work with developers and product management to prioritise the product backlog

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Scrum Master has:

- Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in:

- Various delivery methodologies including Agile Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile for Enterprises (SAFe)
- Facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
- A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
- An analytical mindset with a strong grasp of strategic and technical details
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
- The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
- A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
