Snow Plow Operator/shoveler

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Operate snow plows and other snow removal equipment to clear snow from roads, driveways, and parking lots.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, minor repairs, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal and landscape maintenance as needed.
- Assist in building and maintaining snow barriers or other structures to manage snow accumulation.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed while operating machinery in adverse weather conditions.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate efficient snow removal operations.
- Dig out areas as necessary to ensure safe access for vehicles and pedestrians.
- Perform additional landscape maintenance tasks during off-season periods, including irrigation and gardening duties.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery or similar equipment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscape maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work long hours during winter storms, including nights and weekends as required.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- A valid driver's license is required; a commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
