Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Snow Plow Operator to efficiently manage snow removal operations during winter months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating snow plowing equipment to ensure safe and accessible roads, driveways, and parking lots. This role requires a strong focus on safety, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in challenging weather conditions. Prior experience with construction, landscape maintenance, or plow truck operation is a plus

Duties

  • Operate snow plow trucks and related machinery to clear snow and ice from designated areas
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plow equipment to ensure optimal functioning
  • Maintain safety standards by recognizing hazards and adhering to safety protocols during operations
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts efficiently
  • Document completed work and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating excavators, snow plows, or similar heavy machinery
  • Mechanical knowledge related to construction and maintenance of landscape or irrigation systems
  • Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or general construction is a plus
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures in outdoor winter conditions
  • Ability to work in cold weather environments for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • on call 24 hours a day
  • comfortable working irregular hours including evenings, weekends , holidays
  • 10+ years clean driving record.
  • transportation to site or north van where trucks are located
