**Stone Crock Inc is looking for a Supervisor/Server to join our teams**
**Terms**:Full time, 35-40 hours per we
Flexible availability is a plus
Possible locations include Jacob's Grill & The Pub.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Smart Serve Certified
- Serving experience
- Managing/Supervising experience
- Conflict Resolution
- Expert Organization Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Knowledge of food, wine, and craft beer
- Some knowledge/experience using Lightspeed (or POS systems in general), Google Sheets, and Push are an asset
- Ability to endure long hours standing and walking.
- Must be able to continually lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to bend, twist, lift, and carry items for extended periods of time
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Overlooking restaurant operations, mainly with the front of house (dining room and bar)
- Resolving conflicts (ie. dealing with customer complaints as well as issues amongst FOH staff)
- In charge of scheduling and labour control for the front of house
- Ensuring that staff are following company policies, doing the required side duties and working well together as a team
- Communicating with kitchen staff and manager to ensure restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently at all times
- Minor paperwork/administrative tasks (printing reports, recording staff hours for payroll, running errands for the restaurant, etc.)
- Liquor control, inventory management, and ordering
- Attending management meetings
- Constantly striving to improve overall quality of the restaurant and workplace
- Maintaining/up-keeping the appearance of the dining room
- Serving a full section while ensuring that restaurant operations are running smoothly
