**Shipper / Receiver Opportunity**

At GeoSmart Energy, we lead by example. As one of the largest non-manufacturing-based distributors of geothermal only products in North America, we are constantly pushing the envelope when it comes to exceeding industry standards for service, product innovation and training excellence.

We are currently seeking an experienced, customer service-oriented team player to join and grow with us as a Shipper and Receiver at our headquarters, located in Cambridge, Ontario. This role’s focus is to manage the daily shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies, while maintaining a clean, tidy, organized, and efficient warehouse.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Attention to detail in preparation and packing of customer orders.
- Ensuring the accuracy of outgoing and incoming shipments, using supporting documentation for verification, and reporting any discrepancies or damages accordingly.
- Operation of a Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift
- Promptly loads/unloads customers, trucks and deliveries, inspecting / reporting damages, sort, and stock receivables.
- Completion of packing slips, waybills, and bills of lading as well as inputting of tracking and customer shipping costs into the accounting system.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics carriers, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Ability to resolve issues with logistics carriers and customers.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Engages with vendors, drivers, and customers with a courteous and positive attitude.
- Maintains a clean, tidy, organized, and efficient warehouse.
- Participate in health and safety related duties, including accurate log sheet of daily forklift inspection.
- Communicates inventory discrepancies to management in a timely manner.
- Lifting heavy items at times, up to 88 pounds unassisted.

**Position Profile**:You are a motivated team player and a disciplined self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, growing, and creative environment. A proactive individual, you are passionate about customer service and have a strong sense of time organization and urgency. This position is a physically demanding role which includes but not limited to, heavy lifting unassisted, on your feet and moving around most of the day, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching.

**Compensation**:We provide a competitive base salary commensurate to level of experience and a benefit package. This is a full time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. position.
