We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipper/Receiver to manage the shipping and receiving operations at our facility. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall logistics efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Shipping Operations**:

- Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring compliance with company and carrier specifications.
- Generate shipping documentation, including labels, packing slips, and bills of lading.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- **Receiving Operations**:

- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality and quantity, verifying items against purchase orders.
- Document any discrepancies or damages and report them to the appropriate parties.
- Organize and store received products in designated areas.
- Update inventory records in the management system.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Monitor inventory for expiration dates or obsolescence and report issues as necessary.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse for efficient workflow and accessibility.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with company policies.
- **Collaboration**:

- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding shipping and receiving activities.
- Assist in training new staff as needed.

**Daily Requirements**:

- Review daily shipping and receiving schedules to prioritize tasks.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting appropriate packaging materials and labels.
- Perform quality checks on incoming shipments and record findings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Use warehouse management software to log shipments and updates.
- Handle returned merchandise according to company policies.
- Perform physical tasks, **including** lifting and moving packages (up to 50 lbs).
- Attend daily team meetings to discuss workload and address any concerns.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and warehouse management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (certification may be required).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
