**Shipper/Receiver**

Baumeier Corporation is a Canadian owned and operated metal manufacturing company, specializing in prototyping and custom projects. **Duties and Responsibilities**
- Operate forklift, cranes or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
- Prepare and package products, ensuring they are properly labeled, documented, and meet all shipping requirements.
- Generate shipping documents.
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments, ensuring that they are in good condition and match the accompanying documentation.
- Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure they conform to specifications, quality standards and quantities
- Maintain accurate records of shipped and received items, tracking shipment status and providing updates as needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to address any shipping-related issues or concerns.
- Record and report any discrepancies or damages discovered during the shipping or receiving process.
- Organize and distribute items to the appropriate departments or storage areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels and conducting regular inventory audits.
- Maintain safe working conditions and keep shipping and receiving areas clean.
- Input information into ERP system.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3 years’ of shipping and receiving experience.
- Experience operating a forklift and crane.
- Ability to use computer systems and software for tasks such as generating shipping labels, tracking shipments, and maintaining inventory records.
- Proven time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills (written/verbal).
- Strong work ethic, problem solving skills, and positive team attitude.
- Technical experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.
- Ability to be on your feet the majority of the day, manually handling loads/items.

Starting wage $24 - 27 per hour based on experience
