**The Role**:
Reporting to the Internal Controller, you'll be responsible for managing the weekly accounts payable cycle, processing a high volume of invoices, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in upholding financial integrity, this is the opportunity for you.
You will oversee the accounts payable cycle, ensuring payments are processed efficiently and in compliance with approval procedures. You will handle the processing and reconciliation of invoices, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with general accounting duties, such as entering journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payment inquiries and discrepancies while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with City policies.
**Qualifications**:
- A three (3) year diploma in Accounting, or related field
- A minimum of three (3) months of related experience
