Medical Administrator/receptionist

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide positive customer service to all patients.
- Maintain busy schedule and book patient appointments.
- Complete transactions and insurance claims.
- Manage account payables and receivables.
- Manage business google listing and social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) by answering direct messages and create eye-catching educational posts about services.
- Order and maintain office supplies and medical supplies.
- Maintain clean workspace and waiting room.
**Requirements & Skills**:
- Post-secondary education in related field is considered an asset.
- Medical terminology knowledge is considered an asset.
- Must be very tech-savvy and be comfortable using computers and Apple products.
- Must be comfortable learning new scheduling programs such as JanesApp.
- Must be comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Have a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Have positive customer service skills.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks as needed.
- Experience working with extended healthcare benefits and insurance claims.
- Have strong organization and time management skills.
- Be comfortable answering the phone and making cold calls.
- Create social media posts.
**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
