**What you will be doing**:

- Full cycle accounting for Go Auto Corporation (head office), as well as various other corporate entities and holding companies
- Prepare month-end financial statements along with detailed month-end packages and supporting commentary and analysis
- Work with and provide support to the various departments including marketing, HR, kitchen, central accounting, and others
- Will participate in the year-end audit process
- Will support and/or lead the corporate accounting team with new initiatives and projects
- Will support the financial reporting and treasury functions as needed

**What it takes**:

- An accounting designation is an asset, but not required
- Previous experience as a Controller in the auto industry is awesome, but not required
- Experience with Quickbooks, VBA, Access or Power BI is also awesome, but also not required as long as you can learn new software quickly
- You eat, sleep and breathe Excel
- You can prepare monthly financial statements, detailed departmental budgets, and year-end audit statements like it’s a walk in the park
- General accounting functions are the jam to your toast
- Let’s see those dollar signs You’ve got ideas and strategies that help contribute to the overall profit and success of the organization

- Highly organized and able to navigate a high volume of transactions and competing priorities.
- Ability to coordinate staff and tasks on the corporate accounting team in a efficient manner to meet deadlines.
