**Benefits Specialist**
**Responsibilities**:
- Reconcile monthly benefit statements and bank withdrawals to billing statements
- Perform chargeback reconciliations to Go Auto entities
- Administer disability claims (Short Term, Long Term, and Workers Compensation)
- Manage employee benefits, including adding premiums for employees on Leave of Absence (LOA)
- Process new hires and terminations in UKG for Short Term Disability Payments
- Calculate and process Short Term Disability payments
- Create journal entries in QuickBooks
- Collaborate with First Canadian for Benefits Administration
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiencies
- Provide support and backup for Benefit Specialist I
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
**Qualifications**:
- HR diploma or CEBS certification (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years' experience in Benefits Administration and disability management.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
