Job Description:
**Disability Specialist (Head Office, Edmonton)**

Go Auto Corporate is adding a **Disability Specialist** to our Payroll and Benefits team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of employee disability and leave programs, including short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), and WCB claims.
- Act as the main contact for employees, managers, insurers, and payroll to ensure accurate pay, clear communication, and a smooth claims process.
- Support and educate employees and leaders on disability benefits, return-to-work programs, accommodations, and leave procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential claim records while ensuring compliance with policies and timelines.
- Collaborate with insurance providers to verify claim details and promptly submit required documentation.
- Analyze disability data and recommend process improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
- Assist with process documentation and other related administrative duties as needed.

** What You’ll Bring**:

- Strong knowledge of disability management practices, including STD, LTD, and WCB processes.
- 3+ years experience in a disability specialist role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage employees, managers, and insurance carriers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy in documentation and data management.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to leave and disability management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster collaboration across departments.
- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of employee information.
- Experience with HRIS systems (UKG, Workday and ADP).
