Mrs. P Stitches is a Toronto-based bridal studio celebrated for **expert gown alterations, custom design work, and a curated line of bridal accessories.**We create a warm, stress-free experience for every bride and pride ourselves on craftsmanship, detail, and exceptional service.

**Role Overview**

We are seeking a **hands-on Store Manager** who is equally comfortable **leading a team and performing precise bridal alterations**.
- **Two days per week** you’ll perform **technical bridal gown alterations** and **quality-check every gown** before and after seamstress work.
- The remaining **three days** you’ll oversee **store operations, scheduling, recruiting, ordering, merchandising, and administrative tasks** to keep our growing studio running smoothly.

**Key Responsibilities** Alterations & Quality Control (Approx. 2 Days/Week)
- Conduct bridal fittings: pinning, marking, and advising on complex alterations and custom design work.
- Perform or assist with advanced alterations including lacework, beading, structural adjustments, and bustles.
- Inspect every gown before a seamstress begins and after completion to ensure **flawless fit and finish**.
- Maintain detailed alteration records and client notes for seamless follow-up.

Management & Operations (Approx. 3 Days/Week)
- Oversee daily boutique operations: opening/closing, inventory control, and POS reconciliation.
- Build and manage the **master schedule** for fittings, alterations, and staff coverage.
- Recruit, train, and mentor seamstresses and front-of-house staff.
- Handle vendor relationships: order accessories, custom fabrics, and in-house clothing line supplies.
- Design and merchandise accessory and clothing displays to drive sales.
- Manage client communications, appointments, and social media updates.
- Track key performance metrics (revenue, expenses, labor hours) and present regular reports to ownership.

**Qualifications**
- **Bridal Alterations Expertise**: 3+ years of professional wedding gown alterations (bustles, lacework, structural tailoring).
- **Management Experience**: 2+ years in bridal, luxury fashion, or specialty boutique leadership.
- Strong leadership and scheduling skills; ability to delegate and coach.
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills with a warm, professional presence.
- Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic inventory management.
- Eye for merchandising and a passion for bridal fashion.

**Schedule & Compensation**
- Full-time, typically **Wednesday-Sunday**to align with bridal fittings.
- Two fixed “Alterations Days” (to be confirmed during hiring) and three management/operations days.
- **Compensation**:

- **Base Pay**:CA $25-$30 per hour**, **commensurate with experience**.
- **Annual Bonus**:3% of total annual revenue** as a performance-based commission.
- Staff discount on accessories and custom pieces.
- Paid vacation and statutory holidays.
