In this position you’ll be the person Toronto brides and wedding vendors interact with, so it’s essential that you:

- Genuinely enjoy working with people and easily build rapport - Possess brilliant listening skills - Are an intuitive, tactful and articulate communicator - Have an optimistic, problem-solving approach to challenges and criticism - Are detail-oriented and patient - Can proactively and conscientiously support customers - Prioritize and handle myriad tasks with ease

As our full-time Sales Consultant, you’ll be responsible for the sales and marketing of our Toronto flagship boutique. In a nutshell, you’ll be expected to perform a balancing act between nurturing genuine relationships and closing sales while promoting the boutique in a way true to our brand. Do this in an authentic, effective manner and you’ll be a superstar

You’ll be expected to:

- Develop warm, trust-based relationships with our brides - Guide clients through our collection and help them style their wedding day look - Usher brides through the decision-making process and close sales - Follow up with clients, set appointments, and manage the fitting schedule - Oversee fittings and prepare gowns for pick up - Creatively merchandise the boutique and windows - Network with area wedding vendors

If you join us, you’ll be a part of a growing, independently-owned business whose Toronto-made couture gowns are sold not only in our flagship shop but also in the US and UK. As part of our small business, you’ll sometimes be asked to help out in ways not officially in your job description, including pressing gowns, shipping merchandise and maintaining the store (yes, that’s code for neatening up).

Job Requirements:

- Independent, resilient self-starter who can self manage - Organized and motivated - Ability to recover quickly from (and undaunted by) rejection - High-end/luxury sales experience or previous sales experience an asset
- An understanding of garment construction is necessary - Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds - Ability to work weekends (Saturdays are a must) - Common sense - Excellent sense of humor

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- French not required

- 8 hour shift
