While it adheres to Ontario Residential Tenancy Act regulations, the Western Apartments attempts to provide “value added” services to the student population. **Responsibilities**: The Rental Clerks will be many tenants’ first point of personal contact at Western and will frequently be asked by tenants how to access resources and services provided by both Western and the London community. **Qualifications**: - Education: - 2 Year Community College Diploma in a related field (e.g. Office Administration, Hospitality Management, etc.) - Experience: - 2 years' customer service experience (front line, in person contact with customers) - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proven ability and natural inclination to interact with people in a professional, respectful and diplomatic manner - Strong customer service skill to handle inquires and resolve issues in a timely manner - Positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation - A strong record of teamwork with the motivation and ability to work independently with little supervision - Possesses a reputation of resourcefulness with a strong sense of accountability and initiative - Ability to establish and build healthy working relationships with clients, peers, and external stakeholders - Ability to work well under pressure and use good judgement in assessing difficult situations - Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment with conflicting deadlines - Basic computer skills for Microsoft Office Excel and Word **Union Statement**: **Western Values Diversity**: **Please Note**: We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those chosen for an interview will be contacted.
