Shipping Team Member

Shipping - Team Member
Reports directly to the Shipping Supervisor. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Years of Experience
- 1- year experience in shipping/receiving in manufacturing setting.
- Forklift license is an asset.

Working Conditions
- Work involves working in the warehouse or sites as required;
- Work may require going to site and involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks that require knowledge of and adherence to basic safety procedures and precautions;
- Adherence to safety policies and trainings;
- Work environment requires wearing PPE;
- Flexible to work approved overtime as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Have a high level of social interaction. Work with other production staff, truck drivers, supervisors, Field Managers, installers, and Forklift Operators;
- Knowledge and adherence to carrying out internal shipping SOPs, processes, and practices;
- Ability to use variety of tools, trolly's and equipment;
- Knowledge of industry safety practices;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
- Ability to work in fast paced environments; and
- Must be able to communicate in English clearly and effectively

Job Specific Duties
- Work as a part of an established organization structure within which all State employees provide individually and collectively defined services;
- Ensure the correct items are shipped;
- Load and unload trucks with windows, panels, or other materials;
- Responsible to follow procedures for loading and offloading trucks by scanning all material;
- Ensure proper loading and unloading procedures are being carried out;
- Ensure team members and shipping companies whose work requires access to the plant comply strictly with Company safety requirements;
- Maintain organization of loading and storage areas in the plant; and
- Other tasks that may be required to ensure projects undertaken by State are delivered on time, on budget, and on quality.
