Shipping Coordinator (Night)
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the operation of the shipping department. Reports directly to Shipping Supervisor on all matters. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Education
- Construction Management Diploma, APICS Certification or equivalent is preferred; and
- Forklift license is an asset

Years of Experience
- 1-year of experience in a shipping/receiving or coordinating role.

Working Conditions
- Manufacturing setting and on-site work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks that require knowledge of an adherence to basic safety procedures and precautions;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
- Work environment requires wearing PPE;
- Flexible to work weekends and overtime as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Understand and follow all internal shipping SOPs and train staff to ensure State's compliancy;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook and internal software;
- Demonstrate State's core values and work in a team environment;
- Ability to write and communicate in English clearly and effectively;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Ability to prioritize and work well in a fast-paced environment;
- Work independently with mínimal supervision;
- Knowledgeable of industry safety standards to promote H&S in the workplace; and
- Knowledgeable of processes and practices of shipping/receiving and supply chain management.

Job Specific Duties
- Prepare shipping documents and manifests;
- Update trailer log on daily basis;
- Work closely with production team to ensure production area is clear of product;
- Arrange trailers and truck for the next day shipment;
- Communicate with day shift on progress of shipments, and update on incomplete jobs;
- Follow up with team members to make sure all products are scanned inside/outside trucks and trailers;
- Ensure PPE are always used on the docks;
- Follow up on material and parks picked and ensure they are loaded on trucks; and
- Any other tasks assigned by the Shipping Supervisor
