We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to supervise our project sites, from new ground up builds to interiors fit outs. Working with all team members involved in the project to ensure the project goals and requirements are implemented in the field ahead of schedule, within budget and in compliance with Company and safety policies. **Key Accountabilities**: - Site Operations & Supervision - Scheduling - Health & Safety - Communications & Reporting - QA & QC **Responsibilities**: - Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors. - Educating site workers on safety regulations and accident protocol. - Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries. - Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol. - Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards. - Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance. - Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications. - Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency. **Knowledge and skills you bring**: - A minimum 5 years site supervision experience. - Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations. - CPR and first aide certifications. - Strong leader, team player and communication skills. - Organized, resourceful, self-starter. - Ability to maintain good working relations with suppliers and sub-contractors. - Ability to plan, multi-task, work under pressure and solve problems when unexpected issues arise. - Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints. - Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Project an asset) - Familiarity with commercial, retail construction industry preferred. **We offer**: - Extended healthcare, dental, drug & vision - Health & wellness program - Vacation and PTO - New office space in an easily accessible location with plenty of parking - Mobile phone allowance - Auto allowance \[for applicable roles\] - Work boot program **What it’s like to Work Here** At Royalty General Construction, we employ a diverse group of talented and motivated team players.
