**Development Coordinator, College of Law**:
The College of Law is raising funds to support our students and future legal professionals during their degree programs in the college. Our main priorities for raising funds spreads over four pillars: support indigenous achievement, ensure students have access to a legal education, experiential learning and student health and wellness.

**Primary Purpose**: We are seeking a dynamic and passionate entry-level Development Coordinator to join our team and help drive the growth of our donor pipeline while retaining existing donors. This person will work closely with our Development Officer to coordinate donor reporting, processes and donor stewardship for the college.

**Nature of Work**: Reports to the Director of Administration and works closely with the Development Officer and other members of the team within the college and University Advancement. The individual will garner an in-depth understanding of Law’s priorities, programs, initiatives, and stakeholders with ensuring strong relationship building. Accuracy and attention to details are essential. The environment is dynamic and can be fast paced. The coordinator will be or become knowledgeable about the university’s fundraising policies and procedures, CRA guidelines and Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP ethical principles and standards. Travel and evening and weekend work may be required.

**Typical Duties or Accountabilities**:

- Work closely and collaboration with the Development Officer to support donor recognition and stewardship of donors.
- Work closely with University Advancement team to create and maintain donor reports to track progress and communicate the impact of donations.
- Support the Development Officer in drafting donor proposals, gift agreements, and terms of reference including sponsorship proposals and recognition.
- Ensure the USask database of alumni and donors are inputted and up-to-date information documented in the CRM database.
- Support the college’s team in campaign initiatives.
- Work with the Student Services Manager and Development Officer on student awards including a detailed and annual process to stay connected with donors
- Work with the Development Officer and Alumni Relations Officer on relationships with donors and potential new donors.
- Liaise with University Advancement.
- Prepare reports as required.

**Education**: An undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Experience**: A minimum of three (3) years directly related experience, preferably at USask or at a post-secondary institution. Demonstrated expertise in donor relations and stewardship. Strong negotiation skills are required.

**Salary**: The salary range, based on 1.0 FTE, is $52,050.00 - 81,328.00 per annum. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
