Office Administrative Assistant

Come join our growing team This is a fixed term position for approximately 7 months with the potential opportunity to become full time or permanent.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will assist the Office Manager with ownership in overseeing our office environment. The role is primarily data entry, but also you will:
- Manage telephone, in person or electronic customer inquiries
- Schedule customer appointments and corresponding technicians
- Provide general information to staff and customers regarding our prices, policies and procedures
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with administrative procedures such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, contracts administration and work schedules
- Sort, process and verify receipts, expenditures, forms and other documents
- Maintain a positive working relationship with customers and technicians
- have ability to learn and navigate our scheduling software
- have the ability to manage technicians, customers and administrative duties concurrently
- have knowledge, or the ability to learn, the following: VOIP phone systems, Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel, Quickbooks Online, ServiceM8
- possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- be forward thinking, innovative, reliable and organized
- be able to evaluate current processes and make suggestions for improvements

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
