**Your Role**
As a General Research Analyst, you will support the Director, Legal and Regulatory as part of the CCTS legal, regulatory and compliance team.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Conduct research involving service provider status and records, including corporate registries, and document findings
- Support CCTS’ compliance program by creating checklists and informational documents for internal staff and service providers in a variety of areas
- Support service provider sign up process by assessing eligibility, locating and confirming corporation and contact details
- Review various technical materials including CRTC-developed Codes of Conduct, procedures, regulations, policies, and reports and create informational documents for various stakeholders
- Conduct general research in a number of areas such as ombudsman best practices, privacy, telecommunication
- You have a **minimum of 2 years’ experience** conducting research.
- You have **post-secondary education**, preferably in a field related to legal studies or business.
- You have **intermediate Word and PowerPoint skills**.
- You are **familiar with corporate structures and acquisitions**.
- You have **excellent English communication skills**, both orally and in writing**. Bilingual (English/French)**? Fantastic Preference to those with strong ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, in both official languages.
- Not your first walk around the telecom block? Even better Having previous **experience in the telecommunications industry** or knowledge of the industry is an asset.

La CPRST offre un service gratuit et impartial aux Canadiens.

**Votre rôle**
En tant qu’analyste en recherche générale, vous appuierez le directeur, affaires juridiques et de réglementation au sein de l’équipe des affaires juridiques, de réglementation et de conformité de la Commission des plaintes relatives aux services de télécom-télévision (CPRST).
