**Mercedes-Benz North Vancouver** is currently looking to fill the position of **Dispatcher.**

The Service Dispatcher is responsible for the maximization of workshop utilization by assigning evenly and in a fair manner of workflow to technicians based on their skill level and capability. They will field calls from customers and book appointments as necessary to accomplish this.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Prioritize and dispatch work for the shop
- Maintain shop capacity, efficiency and productivity
- Monitor the availability of technicians and inform the Shop Foremen, Service Advisors, and Managers on absences or delays
- Use internal repair orders and pre-delivery inspections/checks to help reach production goals and complete internal work in a timely manner
- Identify and communicate opportunities to enhance workshop productivity and efficiency to Service Management
- Answer incoming calls regarding service inquiries and accurately schedule appointments, when necessary
- Enter appointments into system, check for open recalls, campaigns and history of vehicles then add to appointment
- Call all no-show customers and reschedule appointments
- Greet customers when Service Advisors are busy
