The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth (CBFY) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering immigrant and refugee youth and families to successfully integrate into Canadian society. With a legacy of commitment and service, CBFY offers a comprehensive range of programs designed to address the educational, social, and psychological needs of newcomer youth and their families, ensuring a smooth transition into Calgary and fostering opportunities for their futures.

**About the position**:
The Program Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the teams. This role provides support to assigned team leaders and staff from administrative tasks, enabling them to focus on integrating and supporting newcomer children and youth. The position also ensures easy access to data for management and the executive team. Additionally, the role involves collaborative support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule meetings, book venues, update changes, and manage overall activity calendars.
- Take minutes at leaders’ and large NNESST (Neighborhood Newcomer Engagement in School Support Team) meetings and share with relevant parties.
- Support the organization and coordination of activities and events.
- Assist in recruiting program participants.
- Document participant data and support reporting processes.
- Facilitate data exchange and communication among staff and teams.
- Prepare and submit NNESST-related reports to the Program Manager and management.
- Collaborate with CBFY’s Program Administrator: Data Management and other Program Administrators.
- Occasionally support and oversee volunteers and practicum students.
- Performs other duties as required.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
Due to funding through Canada Summer Jobs the following are requirements for the position:

- Must provide proof of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or Official Refugee Protection Status
- Must be between 15-30 years of age.

In addition:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years related experience.
- Non
- profit experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft programs including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Current Standard First-Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement of employment.
- Police Record Check Clearance or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement of employment.
- Child Intervention Check Clearance or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement of employment.
