**ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

L.J. Barton Mechanical Inc. is currently looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Input supplier invoices, ensuring 3-way match and appropriate approvals for invoices
- Scan and upload source documents
- Prepare payments, ensuring each are complete and accurate
- Responsible for accuracy of Accounts Payable subledger
- Filing of supplier invoices (paper or digital)
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations, liaising with vendors, and responding to vendor inquiries
- Work with purchasing manager and project management to ensure purchase orders and subcontractor

agreements are appropriately processed
- Work with approving managers to ensure correct allocation of assets and expenses
- Ensure accurate and timely vendor rebates and early payment discounts

**Qualifications**:

- Business Administration or Accounting Diploma (new graduates will be considered) or equivalent experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- Highly organized, detail oriented & self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
- Intermediate skills and experience using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills
- Capacity to coordinate multiple tasks through proven time management skills
- Team focused with ability to work independently to meet deadlines
