**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Process weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in hours worked and deductions. Payroll types include: piecework, hourly, salary, commission.
- Process weekly subcontractor payments, ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain employee records within the HRIS, ensuring all information is up to date.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure payroll accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Conduct data entry tasks related to payroll processing, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to manage accounts payable related to payroll expenses.
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends or discrepancies and provide reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations regarding payroll processing.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in payroll processing or a related field.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with QuickBooks, or Acumatica is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to perform account reconciliation accurately and efficiently.
- Experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.00-$28.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
