**Company Overview**:
Prudential Transportation is a trusted provider of drayage services and container hauling, specializing in the transportation of goods from ports to final destinations. As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a skilled **Import Coordinator** to manage and streamline our import logistics processes, ensuring smooth operations for container hauls.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate drayage services for importing containers from ports to customer locations.
- Work closely with truck drivers, dispatchers, and port authorities to schedule and monitor pickups, deliveries, and container movements.
- Ensure all import-related documentation, such as bills of lading, delivery orders, and customs paperwork, are completed accurately.
- Communicate with customs brokers, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely container clearance.
- Track containers, resolve shipment issues, and keep all stakeholders updated on delivery progress.
- Assist with billing and invoicing for drayage services, ensuring accuracy in charges for transportation and related costs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including import/export laws and transportation industry standards.
- Identify and resolve any logístical challenges, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years of experience in import coordination, drayage, or container logistics.
- Knowledge of trucking regulations, port operations, and customs clearance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in transportation management software (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly to keep shipments on schedule.
