**TITLE: Administrative Officer, Transfer Credit and Graduation**
**POSITION OVERVIEW**: The Administrative Officer, Transfer Credit and Graduation is a member of the Office of the Registrar’s Student Records team, with specific accountability for transfer credit, articulation, and graduation services. The Administrative Officer, Transfer Credit and Graduation is also cross-trained to provide back up support across all departmental units, as needed.

**WHO WE ARE**: Alexander College is a private post-secondary institution serving approximately 4,000 students every year. **REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from an accredited institution, preferably within BC.
- Minimum one to two years of administrative work experience within an educational setting is required, preferably within the Registrar’s Office.
- Minimum one-year of administrative work experience related to transfer credit and articulation is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English.
- Superior problem-solving capabilities, highly organized, diligent and detailed oriented.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Authenticate documentation submitted by students and perform data entry and updating or changes to student information.
- Provide transfer credit training to new staff and evaluators and assist students to submit transfer credit requests.
- Perform sending and receiving functions within BCCAT Transfer Credit System (TCS), as authorized by the Registrar.
- Maintain accuracy and currency of course descriptions (transfers to list) on the website.
- Assist students with enquiries about eligibility for graduation (program requirements, program GPA, etc.).
- Assist students with admissions and/or registration-related appeals.
- Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy using a database system.
- Provide student-facing support with registration-related inquiries, technical issues, and appeals.
