**The Opportunity**:
**_ Scope of the position_**

**_ Duties and Responsibilities_**
- Respond to incoming trade references.
- Manage collection process of delinquent accounts.
- Research and resolve customer deductions and other payment discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information.
- Negotiate payment schedules for delinquent accounts.
- Act as the primary liaison between Accounts Payable and Sales regarding customer refunds.
- Collect detailed information from the Sales and Credit Managers regarding large orders.
- Transmission of invoices through a third party and upload to portals.
- Respond to customer account and invoice inquiries.
- Perform month-end duties related to Credit/AR.
- Support the Finance departments as needed.
- Undertake other related tasks or projects as assigned.

**_Skills and Qualifications_**
- At least 2 years of experience in a credit department within a medium to large-sized Canadian company, specializing in B2B soft collections.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Customer service experience.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

- Motivated, and energetic, with a positive attitude and a pleasant and calm demeanor.
- Proven ability to prioritize, multitask and anticipate needs.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines for critical tasks.
