Based out of our office in Edmonton, AB, the Marketing Coordinator will be a 1-year contract position working part-time with Weir Bowen and part-time with Birth Injury Lawyers Alliance maintaining full-time hours. The Marketing Coordinator’s key role is to build relationships within the community, and design, coordinate, and support various marketing campaigns and initiatives of the organizations. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing company events, maintaining a social media presence, and coordinating with our lawyers to develop ongoing, useful content for both organizations. They will be responsible for updating communications, such as brochures, business cards and promotional products, and providing both Weir Bowen and Birth Injury Lawyers Alliance with monthly reports on marketing effectiveness and opportunities generated. Some of the responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator are listed below:

- Seeking New Opportunities - Developing relationships with key organizations and coordinating sponsorship, and promotion of firm services.
- Marketing - Coordinating and ordering promotional items, i.e., business cards, pamphlets, and letterhead.
- Liaising - Customer and vendor relationship management.
- Social Media Maintenance - Developing and maintaining social media presence.
- Communications - Maintaining websites and social media, so they are accurate and effective.
- Full Cycle Event Planning - Planning for Christmas parties, open houses, golf tournaments, career fairs, and employee appreciation events.
- Content Creation - Coordinate with Lawyers to develop ongoing and useful content for both Weir Bowen and BILA websites and social media.
- Monitoring Opportunities - Up to date with opportunities for Lawyer recognition, coordinating nominations, and executing on opportunities such as Best Lawyers, Lexpert, and Three Best Rated.
- Reporting - Analyze results from digital marketing programs for clients, monitor site traffic, looking at effectiveness and opportunities generated.

**Here is a little more on what we are looking for when it comes to qualifications.**
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is an asset.
- 2-5 years’ proven working experience in digital marketing in a professional services environment.
- Existing relationships within the disability community is a significant asset.
- Must adhere to the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks, i.e., chatbot software.
- Advanced level customer service skills and able to communicate professionally.
