**About Us**:
We are a newly established primary care practice that prides itself on providing exceptional care while focusing on patient comfort and efficiency. Our Marigold team consists of caring professionals who value teamwork, compassion, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Our office is home to seven primary care physicians who have well-established practices within our local community. Our physicians work with varying schedules and paces. Marigold is fortunate to also coordinate patient care with allied healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, social workers, clinical pharmacists, and mental health support workers.

**Role Overview**:
As our Medical Office Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients. We need someone who is skilled in organization, patient care, and administration. This is a role for someone who loves helping others, is tech-savvy, and can maintain a calm, professional demeanor while multitasking with ease. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Interaction**: Greet patients warmly, check them in, and make them feel at ease.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Maintain and organize patient records, and ensure a tidy and welcoming reception area.
- **Team Support**: Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and assist with day-to-day office operations.

- **Experience**: Prior experience as a medical office assistant or in a healthcare environment is preferred but not required. Customer service experience is an asset. MOA Diploma is an asset but not required.
- **Tech-Savvy**: You’re comfortable with office software such as Outlook, Microsoft Office, MedAccess, and OceanMD, and are adaptable to learning new systems. Experience with MedAccess is a benefit but not a requirement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
