Restaurant General Manager

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service quality.
- Hire, train, and mentor staff to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the team to promote special events and menu items.
**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
- 4+ years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or customer service.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A Serving It Right Certificate (valid).
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Must be 19+ and legally eligible to work in BC.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Kitchen experience is not mandatory but would be an asset

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
