Job Description:
Contract Length: 6 months
Reporting to the Marketing Chapter Lead, the Marketing Lead (Base Management) will develop, plan and execute comprehensive base marketing strategies to drive acquisition and customer engagement. Key responsibilities include the development of Welcome Journey and Early Lifecycle Communications. As a member of a cross-functional squad, the Marketing Lead will work within an agile framework to collaborate with product owners and team members from Product, Sales, Digital, and other functions, ensuring that marketing initiatives are iterative, data-driven, and aligned with Cogeco’s overall strategic goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Base management- Act as main point of contact within the squad for building base communications- Marketing point of contact for CRM and Martech, needs to understand end to end how these systems work- Create marketing requirements regarding base management- Create base strategy to achieve Mobile base objectives- Foster relationships with peers on the CCX side of the organization- Owns base-related metrics (Churn, upsell, NPS)-
Analytics- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, using data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and improve ROI.- Provide requirements to measure impacts of all base marketing activities- Understand commercial data to drive insights and draw actions from them
Agile Marketing Leadership- Act as a key member of a cross-functional squad, contributing to the development and execution of agile marketing strategies that respond to market needs and customer feedback.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS- Strong understanding of B2C marketing principles, particularly in the telecommunications industry.- Proven track record in developing and executing successful base marketing strategies that drive growth and customer engagement.- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.- Excellent communication and presentation skills.- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.- Bilingual: Fluent in both English and French to effectively communicate with stakeholders across Canada and the United States is a plus.
ACADEMIC TRAINING- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
WORK EXPERIENCE- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the telecommunications sector. Experience in Wireless is an asset.- 5+ years in data analytics- 5+ years in base management- Experience working in an agile team or squad, with a solid understanding of agile practices is a plus.
